The Knoxville Pipes and Drums is available for hire. As a band we are able to perform many different types of events. Examples of some of the events we have played are:
- The University of Tennessee Half-time Show
- The Dollywood Festival of Nations Parade
- Several College Commencements
- On-stage concerts
A solo piper can perform:
- Funerals
- Weddings
- Private Parties
The Knoxville Pipes and Drums can provide several options for your event:
- Full band: 10-12 pipers and 4-5 drummers
- Half band: 5-6 pipers and 2-3 drummers
- Ensemble: 2-3 pipers or 2 pipers and 1 drummer
- Solo piper
When hiring a Bagpipe Band there are several things to keep in mind. The Great Highland Bagpipes and the drums that play with them can be extremely loud. Make sure your venue is capable of handling the volume of our band. Consider whether you would like a full band, a solo piper, or something in between. The rate for each of these varies. Our rates also vary based on the type of event we are hired for, the time of the event, and the distance to the event.
Please note – we do perform a few charity events, but we regret that, for practical purposes, we can only accept a very limited number of charity events.
